Challenge
Mecum wanted a commercial that simultaneously promoted their auctions and their newly created car transportation service. For people new to the brand, it would serve an introduction. To those familiar, it would show the value of this new service.
Solution
The love affair with cars goes deep, all the way back to childhood. We wanted to tap into that feeling, and how Mecum shares that same passion and obsession. Literally, no one cares more about these cars and caring for them than Mecum. The result was a spot that had guys named Stoney, Cort, and G Money confessing on Facebook and YouTube that the spot brought them to tears.
