Mecum wanted a commercial that simultaneously promoted their auctions and their newly created car transportation service. In the car transportation world, there were several companies with a long track record of service. For Mecum, they needed to establish why collectors should trust a newcomer in the transport field.
Solution
The love affair with cars goes deep, all the way back to childhood. We wanted to tap into that feeling, and how Mecum shares that same passion and obsession. Literally, no one cares more about these cars and taking care of them than Mecum. The result was a spot that had guys named Stoney, Cort, and G Money confessing on Facebook and YouTube that the spot brought them to tears.
